WORK EXPERIENCE
SUPERVISOR @ DRIPP
MAY 2018-JULY 2020
DRIPP BARR IN FULLERTON,CA
500 N Harbor Blvd suite b, Fullerton, CA 92832
Working at Dripp has been the best job during my college career. I absolutely loved creating coffee that connects and creates community in Downtown Fullerton. I worked with three of the best managers I have seen who showed great work ethic, humility, and conflict resolution. Through them, I was able to provide constructive feedback to all of my employees while assisting in resolving emergencies, such as quality or customer problems.
STUDENT ORIENTATION SERVICES LEADER
FEBRUARY- DECEMBER 2018
BIOLA UNIVERSITY
13800 Biola Ave,
La Mirada, CA 90639
When I entered Biola, I was in an SOS group and it allowed me to transition into Biola so easily with a small community. I wanted to help new incoming students have the same experience coming into Biola just as I did. I served and assisted new students and their families to help them transition and connect to Biola University. I also provided tangible resources for new students to help them feel comfortable while helping establish a better understanding of Biola’s social, spiritual, and academic opportunities.
VOLUNTEER
VOLUNTEER @ CHILDREN TO LOVE
JULY-AUGUST 2019
MERY CHILDCARE IN WAKISO, UGANDA
I was able to walk alongside Mercy Childcare in Uganda to assist with their current needs. I was able to build a bridge across cultural barriers and develop relationships with the leaders of the organization, volunteers, and people in the community by eating, living, and doing life with them.
Mercy Childcare also provides microloans to help local women's businesses thrive. I was able to aid the accountant there with these microloans in nearby communities weekly.
These microloans are so impactful throughout the city of Wakiso and have given so much opportunity to the women and their families.
I was also able to assist with math, language, and social skills with the local academy. Even though we danced the majority of the time!
